Sherrie is a doctoral student in Sociology, broadly interested in technology, labor, and migration. She has been researching the demographic trends of rideshare and delivery gig workers in the U.S., as well as migrant remitting patterns through the Mexican Migration Project. Sherrie holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University, where she did research on simulating the division of labor on a social network. When she’s not working, she spends her free time playing pick-up soccer or a number of collaborative board games (her current fixation is Hanabi).
